I’m not sure if this is the actual police photo, or something that has been touched up, but it does appear to be Rihanna. Most Rihanna fans knows she has a tat’ on her shoulder, and the lips looks like hers, only more swollen. Her nose is also swollen and you can see contusions on both sides of her head. If these photos are an accurate account of what Chris Brown is really like, then I hope his career never recovers. Chris Brown offered an apology to Rihanna and his fans, "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person," Brown said in a written statement. Rihanna and her family were appalled by Brown's apology.

Outspoken comedienne ROSEANNE BARR is hoping CHRIS BROWN will face jail time over the troubled R&B star's row with girlfriend RIHANNA earlier this month (Feb09). Brown was arrested and charged with making criminal threats after a bust-up his then-girlfriend. He subsequently issued an official statement insisting most of "what has been speculated or reported" by the media is wrong. But now actress Barr has slammed Brown for his "lies and excuses", insisting the singer deserves to be punished if he committed the crime. She writes on her official blog: "Chris Brown's lies and excuses make me want to beat the crap out of him...he uses the language of the perpetrator just like every sleazy b***ard who ever smacked his wife, kid mother or girlfriend around uses. "You dirty b***ard, I hope you go to prison for ten years. IT'S YOUR FAULT, A**HOLE!" -Unknown News source

On his Web site, ThisIs50.com, Fif has made references to the pair's recent, apparently violent incident in the "Pimpin' Curly" series as well as in his Saturday morning animated disses to Rick Ross. He featured Ross as a cop and Chris and Rihanna as characters from the game "Street Fighter." "Officer Ricky" eventually arrests Brown and tosses him in jail along with Suge Knight. "After I saw the photograph, that wasn't funny anymore," 50 said. "I didn't have any information on it. You're just going on what the public actually had. It shifts the whole thing. Even if you're saying you're in a dysfunctional relationship, I understand that. There's a point when you're already past a woman fighting you back. You look at [the picture], and it's obviously past that point. There's some issues there that definitely gotta be addressed. Not to take any shots at Chris or Rihanna or take sides in any way, [but] it's really not cool. It's not funny anymore, so there will definitely be no more reference to that from me in any way." -MTV News

When Ne-Yo found out about the allegations of violence between Chris Brown and Rihanna, he knew he couldn't get the story from a third party. Concerned for both his friends, the singer wanted to speak to them personally. "I wanted to talk to them before I made a comment," he said about the much-publicized incident that occurred several hours before the Grammy Awards on February 8. Brown turned himself in to police during the awards show and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and released. "I spoke to Rihanna. She says she's fine. She didn't go into detail about what happened. I understand it's a painful situation; I didn't push." "I saw the picture," he said solemnly. "That just really ’” that hurt me to my heart, man. Again, I still don't know what happened, 'cause I haven't had the opportunity to talk to Chris yet. But to take it to that level really hurt my heart. All I can say is, I'm praying for both of them. They're both in my prayers. I haven't had a chance to talk to Chris yet. I just wanna sit down and talk to that dude and just explain if he doesn't understand: 'That's not something that's excusable, bruh. You have to get a little smarter about whatever it is going on in your relationship. You have to get a little smarter about how you handle certain situations.' " -MTV News

Bow Wow knows what it's like to be in the spotlight as a young artist in a high-profile relationship with another singer (in his case, Ciara), and he knows how intense the media glare can be. But he also reportedly told OK! magazine that while he hasn't spoken to former tour mate Chris Brown or Rihanna since their alleged altercation on the eve of the Grammys, which resulted in Brown's arrest on suspicion of making criminal threats, he was shocked by the picture that leaked last week showing Rihanna bruised and battered following the alleged incident. "Just shocking," Bow Wow reportedly told the magazine. "I mean, we heard what happened but we really didn't get a visual for it. But I mean, hey, man. The picture speaks for itself." -MTV News

I contribute to this diary, but I also run a large Rihanna fan club. Rumors surrounding Rihanna not pressing charges against Chris Brown, and even possibly remaining in a relationship with him has angered a lot of her fans. Therefore Rihanna fans have called for a ban of her future releases. This may seem aggressive, but the fans respect the ’˜Take a Bow’ image that Rihanna portrays in her video, coming across as a strong woman who would not settle for poor treatment from a man. However if she is to continue in an unhealthy and dysfunctional relationship, it would be a contradiction of that image. Fans were sympathetic and supportive when they learned of the beating the rising star endured. But now the fan’s sympathy has turned to outrage, most of them saying that they would not care if it happened again, and some predicting that she would be killed at the hands of her emotionally scared boyfriend Chris Brown. We continue to wish the best for Rihanna and her family.

Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies, including assault likely to cause bodily injury and making criminal threats, according to court documents. The 19-year-old R&B singer, who is free on $50,000 bail, is expected to appear in court later Thursday. TMZ is reporting that the charging documents name "Robyn F" as the victim. Robyn Fenty is Rihanna's real name. Multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Rihanna told police on the night of the alleged attack that Brown had a history of abuse towards her, and that he'd started to get "more violent." According to TMZ, the interview will be used as evidence by the District Attorney if they charge Brown with domestic battery. In a new article posted by TMZ (via Fox 11) citing police reports, Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna in his car after she discovered a text message on his phone. According to the report, Brown smashed her head against the window, and then punched and bit her.
